As I said in another post this past weekend my friend Penny and I went to see the Cherry Blossom Festival located at Long Wang Teng about an hour from our house. The place is a huge park with surrounding mountains and a beautiful river. The best time to see this place bloom is around May and it only last for about 3 weeks. We barley made the time frame, the flowers were already falling another week and the whole park is bare.
Spanish Translation (ST): Como les comente en otro post, mi amiga Penny y yo fuimos ha mirar el festival de flores en un parte que se llama "Long Wang Teng", esta como ha una hora de nuestra casa. Es un gran parque con muchas montañas alrededor y un gran rio. Las flores solo brotan como en Mayo y duran solo 3 semanas. Casi perdiamos la opurtinidad de mirar las flores en su glamur. Una semana mas y se acaba todo.
This is my friend Penny. She is from Harbin, one of the coldest places in China. Harbin has an amazing Ice Festival that hopefully next year we will get to see. :) Penny has really been an amazing friend. I help her with her English and she helps me with my Mandarin, what a great deal! ST: Mi amiga Penny. Es de una parte de China que se llama Harbin, unas de las partes que hace un frio. This particular day was extremely windy. As soon as we left it stared raining hard took us almost two hours to get home.
ST: Este dia hiso mucho viento. En cuanto nos fuimos empeso ha llover, duramos 2 horas para llegar ha casa.
