We were invited to a Chinese Cultural Event and had the opportunity to experience some "real" Chinese culture. They had things like paper cutting, drawing Chinese calligraphy, tea tastings and shows.
Arturo made what you see in the picture above... many Chinese people have them in their homes or business, it symbolizes money or riches.
We thought these guys were really cool looking, not sure what they represented though.

So we "tried" to draw some Chinese calligraphy, that was a challenge, it's definitely harder than it looks. They taught us how to draw our Chinese names, Arturo laughed because he said his looks like a kid drew it. :)
